Important: Once the order is placed, we can't cancel the order, we can't add items to the order, we can't add Expedited Service to the order, nor can we modify the shipping address, so please double check your order.

All sales are final.

The order can’t be canceled once the order is placed. We do not accept returns for any reason. Even if the order is returned to us, the seeds can't be resold, and you will not receive a refund.

Important Note: If you want to add Expedited Service to the order after the order has been placed, you will need to place a new order and in the comment section make a note to cancel the previous order and include the previous order number. We can't accept an order with only Expedited Service on the order!

Once the order is shipped, the order can't be canceled, so please review your order before you complete the order.

Valid Email Address and Junk Mail Adjustments

All customers must create an account with us to place an order. All email addresses are verified by the Automated Email Verification System. If the email address can't be verified, the system will not allow you to continue to create a new account. A valid email is required so we can email you the Order Confirmation and Tracking Information.

We do not respond to any email request for us to click a link to add our email to your email service, so please adjust your email preference now. Also, If we receive an email notification that your email is invalid or that are not accepting emails, your order will be canceled and payment will be refunded.

Tracking Your Order

When you place an order through our secure website you will receive an email confirmation that your order was successfully placed. You will also receive an email when your order is shipped with a tracking number.

To check the status of your order, log in to your account and click Review Order History. When you click the Tracking Number, the system will show you tracking Information from the US Post Office website. When it says the package was delivered by the USPS, then this is proof of delivery.

If you did not receive the shipment, and the Tracking Number says it was delivered, you must immediately contact your local Postmaster to notify them that you did not receive the package. They can locate where the package was delivered by GPS location as they scan the package when delivered.

International Orders:

Tracking information is available to some countries, but not all countries. International customers should contact their local Post Office and Customs Office for inquiries about their orders and any delays.

Shipping Address Verification

All addresses are verified by the Automated Address Verification system. If the shipping address can't be verified through the Automated Address Verification system, the order will not be processed! If the system can't verify your address, please contact your local Post Office to get the addresses that are in the Postal Database. Also make a note, that once the order is placed, we can't change the shipping address.

Credit Card Requirements

The credit card information is verified by the Automated Fraud Detection system. If the billing street address and zip code, or any of the credit card information do not match exactly what your credit card company has on file, the charges will be declined.

Declined Credit Card Transactions

You must provide the exact billing street address that appears on your credit card statement or the transaction will be declined.

If any of the information is entered incorrectly, or left blank, the transaction will be declined.

When a credit card is declined, it will appear on your credit card statement as an attempted credit card transaction, but this does not mean it is a charge. It is just a record that the credit card charge was authorized, but the attempted charge that was declined because something did not match what was on file with your credit card. The declined credit charge authorization transaction will drop off your statement in about 3 to 5 business days depending on your credit card company's policies.

International Orders

Delivery time for International orders is 2 to 12 weeks. It could take longer if air transportation to your country is limited or if your Customs Office in your country is slower at processing and clearing shipments.

International Customers bear all risks in ordering from us and should check with their local Post Office and Customs Office to see if there are any restrictions or requirements for seeds entering their country. All international orders are shipped at your own risk. Insurance Protection is not available on International Orders. If the US Customs Office or the Foreign Customs Office does not allow entry into the country or removes a restricted item, the customer bears all risk and is not entitled to a refund. Many times the shipment is destroyed, opened, or kept by the Foreign Customs Office. Even if the order is returned to us, the seeds can't be resold, and you will not receive a refund. The customer is responsible for checking with their Customs office to see if any of the varieties they ordered are restricted!

If the Customs Office in your country is holding the order, the customer is responsible for contacting them to check on the status of the order and inquire why they are holding the order.

Most countries do not require a Phytosanitary Certificate when you place an order for small packs of seeds. Some countries may require a Phytosanitary Certificate for bulk seeds. We do not provide Phytosanitary Certificates at this time. If you are not sure of your country's requirements, please contact your country's Customs Office before ordering.

For Australia, a Phytosanitary Certificate is not required on orders where the seeds are less than 100 grams. Australia has a restriction and no longer allows tomatoes and corn to be shipped into the country. Please check with your Customs office to see if any other varieties you ordered are restricted or require a Phytosanitary Certificate. The customer is not entitled to a refund and bears all risk if the package is returned to us or kept by the Customs Office.

For Brazil, a Phytosanitary Certificate is required on all orders. Please check with your Customs office to see if any other varieties you ordered are restricted or require a Phytosanitary Certificate. The customer is not entitled to a refund and bears all risk if the package is returned to us or kept by the Customs Office.

For Germany, a Phytosanitary Certificate is required on some orders and has restrictions on some varieties. Please check with your Customs office to see if any other varieties you ordered are restricted or require a Phytosanitary Certificate. The customer is not entitled to a refund and bears all risk if the package is returned to us or kept by the Customs Office. Some customers have placed an order and had it shipped to another EU country, and then they had someone forward the package to them in Germany.

For Finland has a restriction and no longer allows the corn to be shipped into their country. Please check with your Customs office to see if any other varieties you ordered are restricted or require a Phytosanitary Certificate. The customer is not entitled to a refund and bears all risk if the package is returned to us or kept by the Customs Office.

For India, all orders require an Import Permit and the customer must request an Import Permit from the Indian Government and email a copy to us before we can ship the order. Please check with your Customs office to see if any other variety you ordered is restricted and if an Import Permit or Phytosanitary Certificate is required. The customer is not entitled to a refund and bears all risk if the package is returned to us or kept by the Customs Office.

For Italy, there is a high percentage of orders being returned by Italy's Post Offices. Many packages are returned to us because there are restrictions on the products you ordered. We strongly recommend that you have your order shipped to a friend or family member in another EU country and then forwarded the package to you. Please check with your Customs office to see if any other varieties you ordered are restricted or require a Phytosanitary Certificate. The customer is not entitled to a refund and bears all risk if the package is returned to us or kept by the Customs Office.

For Sweden, a Phytosanitary Certificate is required on all orders, thus we no longer ship to Sweden. Some customers have placed an order and had it shipped to another EU country, and then they had someone forward the package to them in Sweden.

Phytosanitary Certificate. We have discontinued issuing Phytosanitary Certificates. Please check with your Customs Office if one is required before placing an order.

Insurance Protection for International Orders. There is no insurance on International orders. Insurance Protection does not cover International Orders. We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments on International Orders. When a customer places an International Order, they understand that he bears all risk, and if a shipment is lost, damaged, or refused entry into their country by the Customs Office, he understands he will not get reimbursed.

Out of Stock Policy

You can click the, NOTIFY ME WHEN ITEM IS AVAILABLE button, to be notified when the item is back in stock.

We don’t substitute if an item is out of stock! At times, an item(s) may become out of stock. This seldom occurs and is usually a result of inventory adjustments or an unexpected increase in sales. We will issue a refund if an item is sold out and becomes unavailable.

Planting Instructions

The Planting Instructions can be found on the product page of each item. Please read and follow the instructions carefully. We do not recommend any type of dome-type soilless-based growing systems, as many customers had problems with germination with these types of systems. The Money Back Guarantee Warranty is only valid if you follow the Planting Instructions on our website.

Money Back Guarantee

We guarantee that our seeds will grow!

We test our seeds when we receive the seeds from our suppliers and also retest the seeds regularly to assure the high-quality seeds are viable and meet our strict germination guidelines.

If the seeds do not germinate, it's simple, you get your money back!***

You must notify us within 120 days of purchase if you experience any germination problems. No exceptions! We will test the seeds and see if we can find a problem with the seeds. In most situations, the problem with germination is a result of the temperature being too low, the soil being too moist, or using the improper seed starting mix. If we test the seeds and find no problem with the germination, then a refund will not be forthcoming.

*** Disclaimer: Seeds grown in dome-type soilless-based growing systems and in greenhouses are not covered under our Money Back Guarantee. Temperatures & moisture fluctuate too much and thus the grower has problems with germination. The maximum refund issued will be the total cost of the order.

***The only requirements on the Money-Back Guarantee are that you must follow the Planting Instructions and the Hot Pepper Growing Tips on our website. You must also answer the questionnaire that we will email you, so we can evaluate the problem and let you know what may have caused the problem, so you don't experience a problem in the future.

Germination Problems

Almost 95% of the time, when there is a complaint about germination, it is not because there is a problem with the seeds, but in the manner, the gardener used to grow the seeds. We had gardeners tell us they used zip-lock bags, Petri dishes, paper towels, and regular topsoil to grow the seeds. We had other gardeners say they soaked the seeds in water and other weird solutions for several days prior to planting the seeds. The most common mistakes however is (1) over-watering the seeds, (2) watering the seedlings too often, (3) covering the seeds with a plastic lid and thus not allowing proper ventilation, (4) and not having the optimum temperature (especially hot peppers which require constant higher temperatures than most vegetables). If the gardener followed the Planting Instructions on our website, they wouldn't have experienced any germination problems at all. They would have avoided the unnecessary frustration of the seeds not growing or the seedlings dying.

Insurance Protection

We are not responsible for non-delivered, lost, or damaged shipments. The optional Insurance Protection protects you from a lost or damaged shipment. Insurance Protection is recommended as the Seller's liability ceases upon the release of goods to the US Post Office. Insurance Protection is not available on International Orders. Protect yourself by adding Insurance Protection to the order. The buyer understands he bears all risk if he does not add Insurance Protection to the order and that he will not receive a refund for lost packages or damaged shipments. You must contact us by email the day the order is delivered to report undelivered or damaged shipments. No exceptions. Customers must contact their local Post Office before contacting us and ask the Postmaster about shipments that show that it has been delivered. The Post Office can track the package by GPS location and find out exactly where it was last scanned and delivered. If the USPS Tracking Information says it was delivered, you are not entitled to a refund, as this is Proof of Delivery. Note: If the order is lost in shipment, we will issue a refund, but we must wait 3 weeks to confirm that the order was lost, as it may be delayed because of inclement weather.

Missing Seeds, Never Received Shipment, or Problem with the Order Notification

All customers must notify us within 7 days of receiving the shipment of any missing items and/or problems with the order. The customer must notify us within 30 days of placing the order if they have not received the order. No exceptions!

Shipping and Handling Fees

The shipping and handling fees are determined by the following factors: the shipping address, the shipping method, and the dollar amount of the order.

The shipping and handling fees do not just include postage but include the cost of packaging, labels, etc., and the cost to fill the order. By completing the order, you accept the shipping and handling fees.

Estimated Time to Leave Our Warehouse

The busiest time of the year is between January and June, so consider selecting Expedited Service if you want your order filled quickly. Also, consider selecting Priority Mail or Express Mail during checkout. Again this year we are experiencing an extremely high number of orders, and assume that many are growing gardens this year because of the recession. You can expect a week's delay in processing your order, because of the high number of orders, so please consider adding Expedited Service to your order.

Orders are filled in the order they are received, except for Expedited Orders which are filled first. The delivery time depends on the method of shipment you selected during checkout.

Expedited Orders take at an average of 1-2 business days to leave our warehouse. Expedited Orders placed on a Friday will be processed the following Monday. If there is a backordered item(s), we will ship the item(s) as soon as it is back in stock. The Expedited Order fee will not be refunded if there is a backordered item, as we will expedite the initial order and ship it before all non-Expedited Orders. You can cancel a backordered item(s) if you can't wait.

Non-Expedited Orders take an average of 2-5 business days (not including Saturdays and Sundays) to leave our warehouse, but it can be a week or so longer because of the high number of orders this season.

Estimated Delivery Time via USPS - the US Post Office.

Your order will be shipped by the US Post Office only. We do not use UPS or FedEx. If you have a PO Box, please enter the PO Box address on line 1 of the street address. Do not include a PO Box address and a street address on the street address fields, just include one or the other! Do not repeat the same street address more than one time either on line 2 or line 3 of the street address fields - just leave lines 2 and 3 blank.

The total delivery time is based on when the order leaves our warehouse and the shipping method you selected during checkout. International Orders can take longer than 12 weeks if the Customs Office in that country decides to inspect the package.

PayPal Payment Requirements

If you selected PayPal as the payment process, you must complete the PayPal payment within 24 hours. The order will be canceled if we do not receive a payment within 24 hours.

Shipping Address & Returns by USPS

Please provide the address where you receive your mail from the Post Office. Once the order is placed, the shipping address can't be changed. This is to prevent fraudulent orders from being placed where someone places an order and then requests a change of delivery address, so please double-check the shipping address prior to finalizing the order. If the package is returned to us, because of an incorrect address, undeliverable address, unable to forward, or any other reason, a refund will not be forthcoming because we can't resell the seeds that are returned to us.

Return Policy

All sales are final and we do not accept returns for any reason.

Warranty Policy

Reimer Seeds, Inc. warrants to the extent of the purchase price, and that the seeds sold are as described on the pack, within recognized tolerances. We give no other or further warranty, expressed or implied.

Important Notice About Growing Hot Peppers

Many hot pepper varieties come from dry desert regions and others come from tropical regions. Please follow the Planting Instructions on our website. You may have success growing some varieties using other growing methods but may experience germination problems with other varieties, so it is important to use our Planting Instructions and Tips on Growing Hot Peppers. Our Planting Instructions are based on years of research and work well for most varieties.

Watermelon Release - Important Notice

Watermelon growers hereby release and hold harmless Reimer Seeds Inc to any damages resulting from Bacterial Fruit Blotch. In any case, the buyer's sole and exclusive remedy shall be limited to the purchase price of the seeds. Bacterial Fruit Blotch of Watermelons is a bacterial disease that has resulted in severe economical losses to watermelon growers. Early detection can help limit losses. Bacterial Fruit Bacteria was not detected in a 10,000-seed sample of this lot. This does not guarantee that this lot is free of the seed-borne organism. Do not plant these seeds without reading a copy of this notice.

Disclaimer Policy
