Porcelain Doll Pumpkins pk/10
120 days. Cucurbita maxima. Plant produces good yields of 10 to 20 pound pinkl pumpkins. Pumpkins start out pale yellow, then cream, then pink when fully mature. Multiple harvest are required because pumpkins develop and mature at different times as vines grow. Excellent variety for home gardens and market growers. For best pink color, harvest when corkiness has developed on stem. pk/10
Disclaimer Note:
Some environmental conditions and stress can cause plant to produce non-pink pumpkins! Such conditions that may cause non-pink pumpkins are excessive high heat, abnormal PH in soil, and too much fertilizing. Depending on conditions, the true pink color pumpkins can range from 40% to 90% of harvest. Non-pink pumpkins can exhibit blotchy coloration, ranging from blue-grey to green, to salmon orange color.
