This popular okra variety is prized for long, slender, nearly spineless pods that stay tender and flavorful even when grown larger than typical okra. The pods are green and turn creamy yellow-green when mature. Even at 4 to 10" long, they are tender, sweet, and spineless enough to be eaten raw or added to salads. A great pickling variety. A favorite used in restaurants. Heat Tolerant. Excellent choice for home gardens and specialty market growers. An heirloom variety from Burma, now known as Myanmar.
