Cabbage Seed Planting Information: Cabbage grows best when daytime temperatures are under 80 F. High fertility, improper water conditions, and heat can cause loose, puffy heads. Spring planting should occur as soon as soil can be worked, 3 to 5 weeks before last frost, and fall planting done around June or July. Plants can grow 6 to 12" tall. |
