Collard Seed Planting Information: Collard seeds are usually planted directly in the garden, but can be planted indoors and transplanted outdoors. If growing indoors, plant seeds 5 to 7 weeks before setting outdoors. If sowing seeds directly in the garden, plant seeds in the spring 30 days before last frost, and in the fall 90 days before first autumn frost. Plants can grow 24 - 36" tall. |
