The Cook's Blue Improved variety has distinctive bluish-green needles which sets it apart from other Christmas Trees. It is a very attractive tree, perfect for landscaping. It is most often used as a Christmas tree due to its pleasing appearance and fragrance. The tree is native to North America. Great for school projects. Planting Instructions:

Note: Soak in water, and let stand in water for 24 hours. Seeds need warm temperatures after sowing to germinate. Minimum temperature of 75+ F.

Stratification Method: Cold stratify for 30 days. Plant seeds directly in soil 1/4" to 3/8" deep. Fall sowing in mulched beds is often preferred to artificial strat and spring sowing.

Soil Facts: Requires a well-prepared soil. Use general purpose fertilizer when preparing soil.

Germination: 14-28 days at 75° to 85°F
