Endive Seed Planting Information: Endive is a curly leaf plant and is very easy to grow. It is very hardy and is frost resistant. It does well even in rainy regions. Endive does not do well in very hot weather. You can have successive plantings throughout the year. In the spring, plant seeds 4 weeks before last frost date. Plant in August for fall harvest. Endive seeds are usually planted directly in the garden. Plant your seeds as soon as the soil can be worked. Plants grow 3 - 9" tall. |
