The flavor of these is good, but my one complaint is the skin is thicker and more stout than other tomatoes. I bet it would store and ship well (without bruising), but it makes the texture harder when eating them. Contrast that with the velvety softness of a beefsteak and this variety will leave something to be desired. I’ll say this though.... these are the most beautiful looking tomato plants I’ve ever seen: tall, stately, and very easy to grow too.
