120 days. Oryza sativa. Open Pollinated. Short Grain Rice Seeds. The plant produces high yields of pearly white short grain rice. This high quality sweet sticky variety has a sweet flavor and grows well in the United States. Grows best in well saturated soil. It doesn’t require flooding or paddies, but they help. In Zone 5, it can be grown from direct sowing but does best when planted from transplants. Try growing your rice. Great for school projects. Also known as Yukimochi Rice. A variety from northern Japan.
