Planting Instructions: Seeds are tiny and need light for germination. Sow seeds on the surface or cover very lightly, no more than ⅛". Cover lightly with a thin layer of Miracle-Gro Seed Starting Mix and water gently.

Plant Thinning: Thin plants to 12 to 24" apart, rows about 12 to 24" apart.

Soil Facts: Requires well-prepared soil. Rich, moist, well-drained soil. Mix in compost or organic matter. Avoid heavy clay or waterlogged conditions.

Fertilizer: Use a general-purpose fertilizer when preparing the soil. Ideal pH: roughly 6.0–7.0/7.5
