Planted this variety directly into a pile of 80% well composted horse manure and 20% fine red mix. A single vine spread a full 20'X20' and one year produced 35 thirty pounders, this year 10 twenty five pounders. Perfect, delicious, juicy very sweet. Live on rainy side of Big Island Hawaii, 90% humidity on average, 130" rain a year. This variety did beautifully! Fabulous used as ice cubes in cold champagne on hot summer evenings.
