I have been trying different determinate paste tomato varieties for about 5 years, and so far Viva is the best combo of disease resistance, taste and productivity in my hot, humid location. As compared with Plum Regal and Roma particularly, Viva produced more fruit and less wilt and blight, by far. Stalks were also sturdier making this my new favorite paste tomato.
