1990 All-America Selections Winner! 75 days. Cucurbita pepo. Open Pollinated. Cream of the Crop Squash. This bush plant produces high yields of 3 lb acorn squash. The squash has creamy white skin and golden cream flesh and has excellent baking qualities. It is great to pick small and use as a summer squash, or can be left to ripen and used for winter storage. Stores well. This bush plant is suitable for small gardens. An excellent choice for home gardens, Farmer's Markets, and market growers. A variety from the USA. A winter squash variety.

Winter Squash Seed Planting Information:

Winter Squash need warm weather to grow. It is best to plant seeds directly in the garden. Plant your seeds after the soil has warmed up. Thin so there are 4 plants per hill. Eight to 10 plants will provide more than enough for a large family. You can trellis squash to save space. Plants grow 2 ft tall, and vines spread up to 10 ft.
