One of the easiest specialty plants to grow. Kids will love growing them. Cotton does best in warm weather regions. Plant directly in the spring garden when the night temperature is above 50 degrees. Plants can grow 4 ft tall.
Requires fertile soil in a well-drained location in the garden. Apply mulch, grass clippings, or straw around the base of the plant.
Water during dry and hot spells.

Hand remove cotton from the plant when the cotton pods open.
