I orginally planted the Long Season Lutz Beets on April 3, 2010 and not one seed germinated. I replanted the same seeds on May 2, 2010 and noticed sprouts on June 1, 2010. They were planted in the same place, the only difference is that we had some very warm weather. ANYWAY - they did germinate.

This is an excellent beet , especially for the tasty greens.
